Join us for the Southern Tier’s premier craft brewing event—Brewfest—hosted by the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce! Sample craft beverages from over 20 local breweries, cideries, and distilleries as you stroll through beautiful Island Park in Wellsville. The event features live music by the Bergholz German Band, contests/games, and German-themed fare offered by favorite local eateries.
Brewfest takes place rain or shine on the last Saturday of September—mark your calendars!

How Many Participating Breweries? What Breweries?
Breweries are signing up daily and will be announced on the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page as we countdown to the event.(https://www.facebook.com/WellsvilleAreaChamber/).
What will the VIP ticket get me?
With a VIP ticket, you’ll get to start an hour early (at noon), receive a special souvenir and maybe even try a brew for only VIPs.
Do You Have to Have a Ticket to Attend or Are They For Drinking Only?
Access to the Brewfest area of Island Park is by ticket only. We will have a discounted Designated Driver ticket for those who won’t be drinking.
Is this Event 21 and Up?
Yes, no children allowed at Brewfest. Only persons 21 years or older with a valid ID can enter Island Park’s Brew Fest area. No exceptions.
Can I Bring My Pet?
No, pets will not be allowed in the Brewfest area.
Can I Bring My Own Cup or Beer Mug?
No, you will receive a souvenir tasting glass during registration.
How Big Are the Servings?
Tastings are estimated to be 3-5 oz.
What Should I Bring to Brewfest?
Smiles and positive vibes. No outside drinks or food are allowed in the Brewfest area. Food and drink will be available for purchase on-site.
What Happens if it Rains?
Brewfest will take place rain or shine!
Will there be a discounted ticket for Designated Drivers available?
Yes!!!

Yes! We have a couple of volunteers to be Designated Drivers. Please be kind and tip them generously for getting you home safe!

We are now an official venue for the U.S. Steinholding Association's State and National Championship
Sign up at the Brew Fest to participate in the National Competition! The winner of the men’s division competition and the winner of the women’s division competition will be eligible to compete in the New York State Steinholding Championships. That competition will be held at the Hofbrauhaus Buffalo on October 25th. The winners of the State competition will be eligible to participate in the National Steinholders Championship to be held in Cincinnati, Ohio in November.
