Follow the Art: Allegany Artisans Studio Tour Returns October 16–18
Allegany County, NY – The 38th Annual Allegany Artisans Studio Tour returns October 16–18, 2026, with 34 working artisans at 27 studio locations opening their doors to visitors throughout Allegany County.
More than an art show, the self-guided tour is a chance to meet artists where they create, see works in progress, ask questions, and purchase directly from the makers.
Visitors may see clay taking shape on a potter’s wheel, handmade paper poured into a deckle box, metal crafted into jewelry, or wood, glass, fiber, paint, and other materials transformed into works of art. Many artisans will demonstrate their techniques throughout the weekend.
Each studio location will also offer visitors a chance to enter drawings for gift certificates redeemable with participating Allegany Artisans.
A Preview Evening will be held Friday, October 16, from 5–8 p.m., with select studios open. All 27 studios will be open Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18, from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Follow the signs, meet the makers, and discover art being created across Allegany County.
